Doesn't every family harbor some mental illness, financial insecurity and tangled sibling relationships? Local resident, director, teacher and playwright Beverly Olevin asks in her new novel, The Good Side of Bad (White River Press, Amherst, MA).
Beverly Olevin is the author of the novel The Breath of Juno, a tale of magical realism. Her short fiction has appeared in literary journals and magazines nationally. She also teaches at UCLA's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and the University of Washington.
