Brentwood Community Council:
http://www.brentwoodcommunitycouncil.org/The Brentwood Community Council is the "go to" place to learn about all that's moving and shaking in Brentwood. The organization is comprised of representatives from all walks of Brentwood life -- homeowner associations, businesses, churches, schools, volunteer organizations -- etc.
The Brentwood Community Council meets the first Tuesday of each month starting at 7 p.m. at the Kaufman Branch Library on San Vicente. The public is welcome to attend and comment. Meetings general conclude around 9:30 p.m.
Brentwood Community Council has an extensive website with lots of background on burning issues, links to important organizations, etc. You can sign up for electronic newsletters depending on your area of interest (events, traffic, etc.).
