Major Incident Notification - Road Closure - Mandeville Cyn Area

On Saturday, 11/19/11, at approx. 1000 hrs LAFD reported a possible mud slide in the area of 1877 Westridge Road, Brentwood.
SLO Fine responded to the area & met with LAFD Battalion 9.
A 2 1/2 PVC irrigation line broke; approximately 20'x8' high slough of mud/debris/trees slid off private property hillside and is blocking Westridge Road.
SLO Fine is currently assisting with traffic control; DOT en route to handle road closure.
ROAD CLOSURE: Westridge Road - Between Correa Way and Westridge Terrace. (Unknown Duration)
LAFD notified DWP and Street Maintenance; both departments are currently assisting with clean up.
No structures damaged, No evacuations, No injuries to report.
Mandiville Cyn Road is open.
