Mount St. Mary’s College Dean Dies

Sister Joseph Adele Edwards died December 25, 2011 of complications from Lou Gehrig’s disease. She was 78. Edwards taught at Mount Saint Mary’s College for 48 years. She was still assisting students and tutoring, as health permitted, up until her death. She began her career at Mount St. Mary’s in 1963, working with students facing academic probation. Edwards was loved and admired by her students and she will be missed.
