Beach=Culture presents Red Hen Press poets
Enjoy some literature and sand at The Annenberg Community Beach House on Tuesdays this summer.

Beach=Culture and the Red Hen Poetry Series present a celebration of contemporary poetry in a seaside setting on the first Tuesdays of July, August, and September.
The First Tuesday in July, July 6, features readings by Charles Harper Webb, Ron Koertge, and Nickole Brown;
The First Tuesday in August, August 3, features readings by Francisco Aragon, Chris Abani, and Jenny Factor;
The First Tuesday in September, September 7, will feature Claudia Rankine, Douglas Kearny, and Camille Dungy.

http://www.eventbrite.com/org/199463539.Tours: Docents from the Santa Monica Conservancy lead a 30-minute tour of the Beach House at 5:15pm on each of these Tuesday evenings.
Food: Back on the Beach Cafe open 8am-8pm, Mondays 8am-3pm.
Directions: Accessible from the Beach Bike Path, bike parking available – bring your own lock. By car: from the Pacific Coast Highway north of the California Incline, turn at the Beach House Way traffic light into convenient parking (weekdays, $8/day).
