City of Santa Monica grant supports TWO FREE WEEKENDS of THEATRE for Family members of all ages

Kids join in the sing-a-long for a modern Mother Goose
FREE for all tickets to the wildly popular new musical comedy ALL JOIN IN, celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Santa Monica Playhouse Family Theatre Musical Matinee Series for Kids 2 to 102.
The Playhouse is offering FREE TICKETS on Saturday and Sunday, July 24-25 and July 31-August 1, at both the 12:30 and 3:00 pm performances of this delightful fairytale world sing-the-songs, hum-the-tunes, get-on-the-stage, win-the-prizes, good-old-fashioned English Musical Hall world premiere musical revue for theatre-lovers of all ages. Written & directed by the award-winning creative team of Chris DeCarlo and Evelyn Rudie, ALL JOIN IN features members of the internationally acclaimed Actors’ Repertory Theatre (“You won't find more professional theater - for children or adults - anywhere!” L.A. The joys of being green
eleste Akiki, Kate Burleigh, Melissa Gentry and Nima Ghassemian, joined by guest artists Carolyn Freeman Champ and Shannon Martinous. ALL JOIN IN currently plays weekends through September 26, 2010. Regular admission is $10.50 for kids 12 and under, $12.50 for adults. Seating is limited and reservations are a must.
Last year’s FREE FESTIVAL was completely sold out the same day it was announced. Birthday and tea parties are available in conjunction with every performance. The ALL JOIN IN FREE FESTIVAL OF THEATRE is sponsored in part by US Bank and the City of Santa Monica Community Access and Participation (CAP) Grant and the Santa Monica Arts Commission.
