JAMBAND SCENE EXPLODES ON THE WEST SIDE AT CLUB GOOD HURT

Westside Convergence. . .an evening of local music and art

An electrifying evening celebrating local music and art is occurring on Thursday, March 18th , 2010 when the �West-Side Convergence� will showcase 5 local bands, 3 DJs, and live visual art at Club Good Hurt in West Los Angeles. The evening is expected to attract music and art lovers from across the Westside. Club Good Hurt, LA�s hottest new nightclub, will provide the perfect environment to dance, shoot pool, enjoy music, and network.
Convergence brings together talented local musicians featuring performances by Exactly, Magnus Hitch, and Auditory Aphaisa. The evening will start with acoustic sets by Hello Echo and and Angel City Ramblers. The live bands will be punctuated by DJ sets by ChrisB, Yusti, and Jed from the Portal Patch. To complete the atmosphere, live visual art will be provided throughout the evening by Jigglesworth. All this for only $5!!!
With so many performances spread over the night, there should be something to suit all musical tastes.

"Westside Convergence will bring together a diverse line-up of artists, which will be a great attraction for music fans and jam band enthusiasts," said the managing director of Headtron. �These musicians share a collective penchant for improvisation, and a commitment to musicianship that crosses genres, drawing from a range of traditions including rock, funk, jazz, blues, bluegrass, and even techno. All the musicians will be working to create an environment for fans to enjoy an entire evening of music�a fun and affordable way to see many local artists in one place.�
The diverse genres and styles of the bands are held together by a common musical approach: an emphasis on creative improvisation and live performance. The evening should appeal to their common fan base of festival-goers and touring fans�but held in a local, intimate environment. The exceptional musicians will create an evening that is sure to thrill any music lover.
