The Brentwood Community has lost a giant. Barbara Goldenberg passed away July 7.
Her devotion to the Brentwood Community spans decades of activism for the environment, specifically the Coral Trees (SOS Coral Tree), the London Plane sidewalk trees (Adopt A Tree), and the Brentwood Gardens at Brentwood Magnet School.
Barbara’s resume rings loud and clear of a woman determined to make this community a better place, a woman on a mission to care and appreciate green, a woman dedicated to family and friends.
We will miss her unique style and companionship. No funeral is planned..a future celebration of her life will be announced by her family.
