Sunset - Sepulveda Pass Construction Update

May 13: As part of the pre-construction activities for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project, the Contractor will perform grinding and saw-cutting work on the right-hand shoulder of the southbound I-405 Freeway between the I-10 and US-101 freeways. This night-time work activity is designed to shave and level out the highway road pavement as part of construction for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project.
* Full Freeway Closure Segments Anticipated Day of Full Freeway
Closure Time : Ventura Blvd. to Bel Air Crest Rd. May 17-21 Midnight to 5:00 am
What to expect:
Segmented closure between National Blvd. and Santa Monica Blvd. will require the closure of the I-10 eastbound and westbound connectors to the I-405. For detour information please
visit
www.metro.net/405 There will be the same number of thru traffic lanes as there are currently at the completion
of this activity.
