The Wilshire Theatre in Beverly Hills is Back.

Having completed Phase 1 of its Revitalization Project, the new renovations were rolled out on September 21 at the opening performance of
“It’s Magic! A Tribute to Sammy Cahn.”Performers included Leonard Maltin, Karen Morrow, Byron Motley, Judith Owen, Freda Payne, Harry Shearer and Steve Tyrell, and the event was produced and directed by Corky Hale.

VIPs in attendance included Army and Selma Archerd, David and Selma Baron, Frank and Margie Barron, Tom Bosley, George Christy, Jean Picker Firstenberg, Ruth Kraft, Frank and Helene Pierson, Mike Stoller and Tricia Tahara Stroller and Roz Wyman.
“Our goal is to revitalize, modernize, preserve and endow our magnificent venue. Everyone in the community is invited to participate in the preservation of this beautiful historic theatre, “David Baron, president of the Beverly Hills Performing Arts Center, said. Renovations will continue over the course of the next few years, totaling $40 million.
