Determined To Succeed provides motivated, low socio-economic students in 6th through 12th grades with year-round academic and enrichment support.
Resources include weekend and after-school tutoring/mentoring sessions, summer and weekend writing workshops, summer enrichment programs, college test prep and career intern opportunities. DTS’s mission is to empower our students with more confidence, stronger self-esteem, and a better education in middle and high school to enable them attend and succeed in college.
“When I was teaching, I found that time and individual attention had an immediate and positive impact on my student’s academic and personal growth,” explains Hahn. “With the money raised tonight, we will be able to ensure that we can help all of our students reach their full academic potential,” Hahn concluded, gratefully.
This year’s raised more than $60,000 all of which will go toward changing the lives of Determined To Succeed’s very grateful students.
