Obama's Second Term: What Does It Mean to The Westside of Los Angeles

Although cynical and ceremonially challenged by nature I was moved by President Obama's inaugural ceremony not because I am an ardent supporter of his but because it demonstrated once again the blessed American tradition of a peaceful transfer of power.

Obama was officially sworn in on Sunday, January 20, 2013 before noon as the American Constitution requires.
Obama was sworn in again at a public ceremony on January 21, 2013.
