“I’d say, not really. I live five minutes from work now, so I’m saving about $500 a year in gas prices now. We just moved to Santa Monica near work.”
Danny Nia “The biggest thing I did, I had to sell my car. I bought a sedan; better gas mileage. I gave my wife the SUV; she stays near home. With the economy down I found an opportunity to buy a home. But, no more $20 lunches.”
Scott Swaving “No, because I don’t live here. I was in South Korea for the last year. I just got back, and I live in Canada. Things were growing in South Korea, but here, things seem to be falling apart.”
Delaine Angelisa “Short answer is ‘no.’ My wife took a ten percent pay cut at work. We haven’t had to cut back, but there’s less money to go around. By summer, gas prices will be $5 a gallon. We’ve already cut back. There’s nothing else to cut back on.”
Tony Tonkin “ Going out, gas, renting movies; that can all go towards gas. My commute is about an hour and I have a truck. I try to go only back and forth to work.”
Jolyn Bailey “Gas. Driving. I have a [Lincoln] Navigator. My husband just bought a bike.”
Daphne Tzalalihin “I’d say driving and eating out. I have to drive for my job. I started riding my bike more.”
