Japan Rocked by Earthquake and Consequent Tsunamis
We are sad to report that Japan has suffered a magnitude 8.9 earthquake in the Northeastern part of the country. Originally thought to be a 7.9 quake, the estimate has since been revised to a 8.9.

The country is also suffering further devastation because of subsequent tsunamis which also potentially threatening several Pacific Island nations and Hawaii.
As residents of earthquake prone California, we want to extend our deepest sympathies to those suffering throughout Japan and its environs.
We wish you strength and hope that your casualties are few.
We will keep you in our prayers.
