Pearls of Wisdom: What to look for in a Pearl
Pearl Paradise CEO, Jeremy Shepherd gives Westside Today readers two important tips to look for when shopping for perarls.

1. Luster; “it’s the most important quality for a pearl, regardless of what kind of pearl it is.” Luster, Shepherd went on to explain is “a measure of the quantity and quality of light reflected from a pearl.”
2. Surface quality. “The less natural blemishes—pits, cracks, rings and scratches—the better,” says Shepherd.
