Every other year the L.A. Esquire House is created by a team of designers, all in the name of charity, with the help of various sponsors.
Local interior designer, Lisa DeLena, has created the Heineken Music Lounge in the former poolhouse of the organic modern residence. The Heineken bar features the company's own custom extra cold system instantly chilling the beer to 32 degrees.
Obscura Digital's installation features custom metal architectural panels from DeLena framing their multi-touch LCD programmed with the history of rock n roll, from the Hard Rock Cafe archives. With eco-friendly pomegranate and shell wallcovering, designer tile on the bar and in the the bathroom, the room mixes finishes to create contemporary texture.
Post modern wood laminate panels frame the stunning art of local artist Emma Ferreira from her 2010 series, "The Stand." Charities set to benefit are The City of Hope, OxFam, International Medical Corps and Oceana.
