By Marielys Camacho Reyes | January 29, 2012
Career and personal coach Marielys Camacho Reyes from MCR Success Coaching is releasing her first self-help book guided to help her readers shift their lives around and create a new attitude toward life and career.
Marielys, what motivated you to write this book?
Over the course of the years, I have experienced many challenges in my life. These challenges, along with my personal, professional, and educational experiences are the responsible forces for the person and the professional I am today. During my working experiences, I have had the opportunity to meet wonderful people with excellent work ethics. The way these people carried themselves made an impression on me and helped me realize the importance of developing good work ethics to be able to be successful not only in our professional lives but also in our personal lives.
What can you tell us about the book?
This book is divided into two sections:
The first section includes 10 valuable tips that will help you improve your career performance. We all have our career concerns and challenges, and sometimes we need a guide or a helping hand (a coach) that can help us navigate throughout that path and become better professionals. This is what this first section of the book will do for you; it will help you face those concerns and re-invent your career performance for a better, successful, and winning one. What the heck; you may end up with a promotion or a better job opportunity after you finish with this book.
The second section of the book includes 10 useful tips that will help you improve your life performance. In that section, I will not try to sugar coat anything, nor will I tell you what you want to hear. What you will read is the pure truth of what life is all about and how shifting or changing your attitude toward the different life issues will help you make the best of the many life situations that you will face in your lifetime.
Marielys also added that if you are not willing to make changes in your life or use the tips she shares in the book to your advantage, she suggest that you do not buy this book. She says that can give you as many tips as you want, but if you are not ready to make adjustments in your life, none of the tips will work for you. That is the simple and ugly truth. You are the only person who can make changes in your life so if you are not willing to do that, save yourself time, money, and energy and go on with your life.

I think you had the wrong book. I am not Mr. Moran. Sorry for the confusion.
Very Respectfully,

Mahmood lJxgFhLlFvLMOH | 4:41pm on Sunday, February 12th, 2012 | Mr. Moran:I have rnceetly chosen your IT Career Builder’s Toolkit book for my Computer Careers college course. I have taught my Careers course the past three years, and was pleased to find so much of what I have taught in your book. Additionally, after reviewing your book and discovering you lived in Arizona, I was sold. In the fall, I will be teaching a traditional face-to-face course as well as an online course. I am currently developing the online course and that’s how I found this website. My problem: You mention in Chapter 3 the use of the Career Concepts Goal sheet. It is not on the CD that came with the book. Would you email that to me?Thank you for taking the time to read this and respond.–Janice Lawhorn |
