Guests were welcomed to an elegant garden party setting at the wedding of Julie Harris and Alex Gonzales, which was held on the grounds of Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. “What I loved about the day was the blend of casual fun and tradition,” the bride says. “Of course, what I most loved about the day was marrying Alex, my best friend.” The newlyweds exchanged vows on their sixth anniversary as a couple.
Julie and Alex say they refused to let pre-wedding stress creep into their planning by doing many of the day-to-day projects together, from printing their own invitations to hiring a karaoke band. “It felt like a real labor of love by the time they were done,” says their photographer Jules Bianchi. “It was so fun to see everything come together.”
