Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon Robin T.W. Yuan Premieres "Behind the Mask, Behind the Glitter"

A Harvard educated, Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon, Dr. Yuan’s new book presents his philosophy and new ways of thinking about cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Yuan's book presents a cerebral and more philosophical approach to the “art” of plastic surgery, as he seeks to reorient the way potential patients “think” prior to going under the knife. Yuan’s goal is to provide patients and the public with insight and knowledge that will allow them to pursue and enjoy the great benefits of cosmetic surgery, while significantly reducing their risks of dissatisfaction.

ld be the long lost art of “listening.” A good surgeon shouldn’t necessarily simply give his/her patients “answers,” but instead, should help them find the answers they are seeking for themselves. This will ensure that patients really understand what they are doing, and why.
** Cosmetic Surgery is Unnecessary -- But this doesn’t mean it’s without value. “Life --and cosmetic surgery – aren’t perfect, but both can certainly be beautiful and meaningful,” says Yuan.
