NINJA POWER NATIONAL CHILDREN'S LEUKEMIA FOUNDATION Providing the Cure

Ninja Power gives children with life threatening illness the chance to experience the energy and excitement of martial arts

By Amy Sommer  |  March 11, 2011

Give a child or young adult battling leukemia a sense of confidence, control and normalcy and help them transform themselves from cancer victims into Ninja fighters.

Pediatric patients with cancer, leukemia and other blood disorders, between the ages of 6 and 22 yrs of age and their siblings are welcome to come to Yoga Works Westwood, located at 1752 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90024 and enjoy the expertise of highly skilled martial artists who have specialized training in medical and psychological aspects of pediatric illness and thus create special classes which take the patients medical issues into account. Children will learn karate moves, meditation and other breathing techniques and there will never be any body-to-body contact.

And it's all free, including uniforms.
