Three for The Road

The SUV is dead. Long live the SAV. This BMW X6 is the company’s definition of a Sports Activity Vehicle. It has a choice of twin-turbocharged engines: a 3.5-liter straight six or a 4.4-liter V8. Either way, what the X6 lacks in rear headroom (just about fine for an average-height adult) it more than makes up for in performance and coolness factor. It’s amazing how something this big can drive so ridiculously well. From $53,275.
