Cleanup Day for Native Garden Rescue

Help to Revive the Long-abandoned site in Pacific Palisades' Temescal Canyon Park on Saturday, May 29th by lending a hand with our volunteer efforts.

By Pacific Palisades Garden Club  |  May 18, 2010

Installed in 1988, this once ambitious site intended to showcase coastal California native plants in a much visited L.A. city park between PCH and Sunset Blvd. is now a forlorn and neglected place where a number of still surviving trees, shrubs, and perennial plants are covered by vines and weeds, with some badly in need of trimming.

Anyone willing to pitch in to help in the initial work of cleaning it up prior to full restoration in the coming months will be warmly welcomed. Call Barbara at 310-459-0190 or write to [email protected] for more information.
