Elizabeth Crosson Named Top Santa Monica Baykeeper
The Santa Monica Barkeepers have appointed environmental law attorney Elizabeth Crosson as Executive Director.

Crosson joins Santa Monica Baykeeper’s (SMBK), founded in 1993, from Clean Water, Inc where she worked as an attorney. She is exited to be a part of SMBK-- whose mission is to protect and restore the Santa Monica Bay, San Pedro Bay and adjacent waters through enforcement, fieldwork and community action: “The Baykeeper Board and staff are passionate about what they do and their impact on water quality protection is powerful,” said Crosson. “I am honored to take over as Executive Director and look forward to expanding our efforts to hold polluters accountable.”
Crosson starts immediately and replaces Tami Clark, Board Member and Interim Executive Director who had temporarily managed the organization while conducting a search for a new Executive Director. Clark will return to her position as Board Officer and Member.
