Bike On It: Santa Monica Wins the Bronze from Bikers
The League of American Bicyclists added the City of Santa Monica to their national list of Bicycle Friendly Communities awarding it a Bronze Medal.

Bikers can move around Santa Monica with ease. The city boasts nearly 16 miles of bike lanes, 19 miles of bike routes, and a 3 mile Beach Bike Path. Santa Monica offers an innovative Bicycle Valet programfree of charge at community events year round. So, save time, parking headaches and the environment; take your bike instead of a car. There are plans under way to build a bicycle parking facility - stay tuned.... and get in shape.
