Looking for LA's funniest, most mischievous dogs

DrawtheDog.com, an enchanting site where dog cartoons seem to draw themselves, will be featuring an entire week of cartoons inspired by Los Angeles dogs.

By Bruce Kasanoff  |  January 16, 2010

Next month, DrawtheDog.com is going to publish an entire week of cartoons inspired by LA's funniest, most mischievous dogs.

Los Angeles dog owners can submit stories about their dogs through the Make Your Dog Famous page at DrawtheDog.com. The stories that inspire cartoonist Jim George will be published on the site, and the real dogs will get credit.

George is a former Disney animator who lives in Los Angeles. He says that this is the most fun he's had in years, because "I get direct feedback from the people who enjoy my cartoons, and they provide me with amazingly funny and heartwarming stories."

The site has attracted visitors from over 95 countries, and has created quite a buzz among the owners of America's 74 million dogs.

One reviewer wrote that "there's nothing online like Draw the Dog, not even close." Another said that each Draw the Dog cartoon was the "visual equivalent of a hug."
