Friends,
Things move quickly these days, and a monthly newsletter is no match for the vibrant pace of news and information that is so vital to L.A. County residents and Third District constituents.
So today we bring you our first Weekly Web Flash. Each week, you will find in your inbox a quick update on what's happening in your government or your neighborhood—with handy links to my website, where you can learn more, take action and participate in our online community.
Our mission is to bring you the big picture of what matters most to you. And to do that, we need lots of smaller pictures—yours. Each week in this space we will showcase one of your contributions to our website's "Picture This" photo gallery. It's just one way we can work together to create community and celebrate the place we call home. Another way: join us on Facebook.
Thanks for reading. Please let us know what you think of this weekly news blast and of our new website, whose mission is spelled out in my blog post here.
My best to you and your family,
zev@bos.lacounty.gov
