Why LT. Howard Leslie continues to hammer his Police Officer on writing tickets, is beyond me? He has now completely brow beaten our Narcotics unit in Pacific division, by attempting to force the NARCOTICS unit to write Drinking in public citations! Also abused his power by calling his goons at Internal Affairs to follow these guys all over the place, because they dared to confront him, about his head in ass directives. Are you OUT OF YOUR MIND??? They were a NARCOTICS unit, tasked with ridding the Venice area of cocaine, heroin and Meth addicts and drug dealers, but this quack LT Leslie wants drinking tickets for revenue and so he can suck up and brown-nose the Captains! This guy is a complete failure to the city of LA.
And do your research about why he was removed from over at West Los Angeles division, where he violated department policy and LIED in an official investigation, that saw a Captian, who was guilty of criminal misconduct and quit in lue of being demoted and fired. So HOWARD LESLIE helped this Captain attempt to cover his tracks and now the department lets this criminal lead a narcotics and gang unit? Hello....RAMPART!!!!!!

I feel bad for the citizens of West Los Angeles because now this Tyrant, LT Leslie, will be the OIC in charge of the West LA Gang and Narcotics squads. With the finantial disclosure and his pathetic leadership ability, you'll get no police officers to work those units and the ones that are there will be leaving. Judging by his lack of understanding in common police practices and his desire to hammer cops for chicken sh_t things, your neighborhoods just got a whole lot less safe. Of coarse, our 2 Captains are a bunch of buffoons anyway, so you all probably didn't expect much from these two clowns. With these three egomaniacs in charge, you West Los Angeles Residents better get on the horn and demand some change, or you will be paying a heavy price for the mediocre job these 3 morons put forth. But worste of the 3 is Leslie, because when you folks call the watch commanders office, he tells you one thing then does another. And he hold citizens and officers in a very negative light.

Can someone here find out from the Mayor and Chief Beck why LT. Howard Leslie continues to hammer his Police Officer on writing tickets? I thought there was no quota, yet we are constantly hammered by this guy about writing tickets. Even with the call load and community out reach that we are attempting to engage in. I as a police officer cannot do anything, in fear of retaliation, but you , the public, our bosses can! I am all for giving a ticket to a violator who is in egregious violation of the vehicle code and un excepting of the responsibility of his/her actions. However, if they seem genuinely apologetic and re-educated of their poor driving, even if it's 5 miles an hour over the speed limit, or another minor violation, I like to use the "spirit of the law, but LT Leslie is demonstratably of the opinion that they should all be hammered and mass tickets should be given out. It seems that the Captains are on the same page. Of coarse they get a bonus in pay if their officers write a boat load of tickets. This would be an interesting topic for the news media. Well, I'm quite sure LT Leslie is to much a coward to answer these questions, and he only goes after officers under his rank and is a typical cowardice bully, with an alligator mouth and a parakeet behind! Tickets, tickets, Tickets, with no quota? Riiiiiiiight.
