I wanted to let you know about an upcoming race here in Brentwood - our first annual Get Fit Be Fit 5 & 10k powered by FrontRunners Brentwood on November 13th. As you already know, FrontRunners is a neighborhood mainstay here in Brentwood (for almost 30 years!) and its two store locations offer top brand name Activewear and Footwear to the very active, health conscious community in West LA. www.frontrunnersla.com. We will be promoting this race in the entire West LA area and it will take place on San Vicente Blvd. It’ll be a festive day with lots of family activities - there’s even a Kid’s 1K as well.
We are now looking for race sponsors. Besides New Balance and Whole Foods Brentwood, St. John’s Physical Therapy also just signed on. One of the best things about this race is that FrontRunners is donating 100% of the proceeds to three local charities -- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica, Connections for Children and Magic Shoe Foundation. FrontRunners is pledging an initial monetary donation to each, as well as dividing the profits between all three.
Our goal is to bring more people into the Brentwood/San Vicente neighborhood that we love.
This is a great (and affordable) way to promote one’s business and do good at the same time. :-)
