The New Zealand consul general maintains its official residence in Brentwood. On November 2, the backyard was opened for a special tasting of wines produced in New Zealand. The event was hosted by the Australian American Association. Proceeds from the event went to fund scholarships for young winemakers interested and willing to spend a year in New Zealand.
