Wilshire Barrington Project Downsizes, Goes Apartment

By Brentwood News December 2011  |  December 17, 2011

The Wilshire/Barrington project, planned for the northeast corner of that intersection, is moving forward as a 6-story apartment building (instead of a 28 story condo building). The new development will be called “the bw.” Monthly rents will range from $2,200 a month to $4,000. The project, by California Landmark, should be done by summer of 2013.
Prior to this recent downsizing, the project was going to be a 23-story condominium development, but Ken Kahan, president of California Landmark, said the bad economy made the condo project unworkable.
