Mothers and daughters gathered with family and friends, August 6th, in the Bel Air Country Club for the Coronet Debutante Ball Board’s Announcement Luncheon. Following lunch and a fashion show, Janet Walther, President of CDBB, thanked the Luncheon Chairman, Susan Hilton. Janet then introduced the 2011 Coronet Debutant Ball Director, Melinda Jones, who in turn announced the 15 young girls who will be presented November 26th at the Coronet Debutante Ball at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
Katrina Saroyna played the harp while the photographer, Lee Salem, snapped pictures of each mother and daughter as the girl received her 14K gold Coronet lavaliere to be worn for the first time the night of the ball.
The girls who were invited to be Coronet Debutantes exhibited an outstanding commitment to community service. Most of these high school seniors have volunteered numerous hours locally. The Coronet Debutante Ball is celebrating its 62nd year. The Los Angeles Founder Chapter of National Charity League will receive the proceeds from the Ball for their philanthropy.
