430 Bus Route Cancellation
By Sarah Coe-Odess | July 10, 2010
In early June the Los Angeles City Council decided to end operation of the 430 bus route. The line, which runs through the Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Westwood, and all the way to Downtown, including a stop at Loyola High School, is expected to make its final run sometime in August.
In replacement of this line, Council Members Bill Rosendahl, Paul Koretz, and Tom LaBonge successfully pushed to approve alternative route changes geared toward serving the students and staff of Loyola High School.
Travelers to Loyola from Brentwood and Pacific Palisades will use METRO Line 2/302, then transfer to Commuter Express Line 431, either at the intersection of Montana Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard or at the Veterans Administration Park & Ride lot.
