PacSun Summer Solstice 1st Beach Ballyhoo
On June 19th and 20th the north side of the Santa Monica Pier was rocked to joyous capacity with revelers enjoying bands like AWOLNATION, Bad Rabbits and Ra Ra Riot.

The two days of fun in the beach sun was sponsored by retailer PacSun - whose stores catering to younger Californians looking to stock up for sports and other archetypes of the California lifestyle.
Additional bands included Yelawolf, Minus the Bear, Circa Survive and others. A concert by Anthony Green spilled over on to the beach where the merriment continued on the sand.
Attendees were also treated to "Quicksilver Presents the Tony Hawk Skate Jam" which afforded attendees the chance to see some of the best athletes on two small wheels perform their bored magic. Skateboarders included Lincoln Ueda, Sergie Ventura, Jesse Fritsch, Kevin Staab, Neal Hendrix and bmx rider Simon Tabron.
Many Angelenos certainly hope that the PacSun Summer Solstice becomes and annual event! For more information:
