The emphasis is on "handmade" at this show, wheel thrown and hand built ceramic pieces. There is something special about eating and drinking out of vessels made from the hands of a local potter--one of a kind pieces.
Many of us are very particular about the pottery and sculpture we have in our homes. We look for the right color and size and shape which will fit with our taste. In The Clayhouse gallery and back studio there is a large variety of handmade mugs, bowls, platters, teapots, planters, vases, jars, casseroles and sculptures for sale--to suit anyone's preference.
Hundreds of pieces of pottery will be displayed and for sale and are made from stoneware and porcelain in several rich glazes like chun red, celedon, tenmoku, shino, waxy white, royal blue, brilliant black, oatmeal speckled brown and much more more.
The Clayhouse is located at 2909 Santa Monica Blvd (near Yale) 310 828-7071.
