Munger Project Update

Artist’s view of the latest version of the Munger Project, where Duttons Bookstore was. The proposed 2-story project, called “Brentwood Town Green,” now includes the building directly to the east of the property, where Embrey Stationers is. The project continues to inch along as it undergoes various city reviews and an environmental impact report. Mr. Munger’s current plans call for the demolition of the existing Barry Building, which has historical landmark advocates upset. It could still take years before construction begins, says Ray Keller, architect.
