Henry Waxman’s New Job

Rep. Henry A. Waxman of Beverly Hills is the new leader of House Energy and Commerce Committee. Waxman is an advocate of stronger regulations to curb global warming. He replaces Michigan’s John D. Dingell, who had a long record of objecting to emissions rules that the automakers considered too restrictive.
