3rd Annual Malibu Music Awards

On Saturday Sept. 25th, the 3rd Annual Malibu Music Awards took place in the evening at the Malibu Colony shopping center. Several local bands played including the Thrashers, one of Hollywood's youngest rocking groups at ages around 12 years old.
The event was a fundraiser to benefit the Malibu and other local school Music and Arts school programs. The highlight of the evening was the legendary Dick Van Dyke receiving a lifetime achievement award for his contributions to music and the arts. He spoke humorously about his filled "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". He is currently involved with cyber art and computer graphic design.
