Mount St. Mary’s College to Host Free Exhibit

Women & Spirit: Catholic Sisters in America June 19-Aug. 14

Women & Spirit: Catholic Sisters in America is a traveling exhibit that reveals the mystery behind a small group of innovative American women who helped shape the nation’s social and cultural landscape. Mount St. Mary’s College is hosting the only Southern California exhibit of the Women & Spirit installment, a look at 300 years of history of women religious throughout the nation. Exhibit visitors will discover the sisters’ quiet courage during many dramatic moments in U.S. history.

When: Sunday, June 19, 2011 through Sunday, August 14, 2011

Exhibit Hours:
10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday-Friday & Sunday. Noon to 7 p.m., Saturday. Closed Monday

Admission: Free admission.
Parking is $5.
